Here at SkyLofts we love all things local, so it only seemed right for us to advertise on Eagles new DAB radio throughout 2014 to let all the local people in Surrey and North East Hampshire know about SkyLofts – we asked our Company Director Stuart Wyeth about the new radio campaign and its success so far:
How Did You Find Out About Eagles New DAB Radio Station?
I attended Eagles Digital Radio Seminar back in November where they discussed creating new customers in a digital future, I learned that their new DAB radio station would potentially reach two million listeners and we wanted to target local familiesso Eagles new station was an ideal advertising platform for us. Although we had never considered radio advertising before, as we always thought it would be too expensive Eagle put together a package that worked for us.
How Did You Create Your Radio Advert?
The team at Eagle Radio came over to our office to absorb themselves in SkyLofts, I told them exactly who I wanted to target and what we wanted to say about loft conversions and the benefits our customers would gain from having their loft converted. Eagle really listened to our needs and were prompt in getting the first draft of our radio adverts back to us. After a few initial comments they provided us with the final versions of two radio adverts that represented SkyLofts and our values perfectly.
Have You Received Any Responses From Your Eagle Radio Adverts?
Our advert has been playing out on Eagles DAB radio for just over three months now, in that time we have had numerous people email and phone us from Guildford, Farnborough, Godalming and Fleet to name a few areas to say “we heard you on Eagle, we have had a few other companies round to quote but we trust Eagle and would like to receive a quote from you as well” the response has been really positive and only this week a lead that we obtained through Eagle has gone ahead in Guildford.
Would You Recommend Other Local Companies To Advertise On Eagle Radio?
I certainly would recommend advertising on Eagle radio, it is a very effective way to reach a wide audience in our local area. The Eagle team were very helpful throughout the creation of our radio adverts and are still helpful to this day.
