“Having decided to convert our loft space into a bedroom early in the New Year, we contacted SKYLOFT in February 2016. From the initial visit from the company representative (Paul) we had a good feeling about our decision, as he both listened to our requirements and immediately presented a number of potential options that we could consider.
Following on from this first meeting, we had several other discussion that further enhanced our confidence. The main reason we decided to go with SKYLOFT was that the complete end-to- end design and build service offered meant, as a busy working family, we had the assurance that all the planning applications, design and administration for the works would be taken care of. Having said that we felt thoroughly engaged throughout the process and any concerns were dealt with in a positive manner.
The delivery of the project started with the design and planning part of the contract, which was superbly delivered with a number of options presented to us from which we able to choose the one which best suited our need.
Once decided upon, the build element began in late April and completed in mid-June (approximately 9 weeks from an estimated 10 weeks). The site manager (Tom) managed and coordinated the on-site works with all the confidence and professionalism you would expect from a high performing organisation. The whole of the build team conducted themselves well with a minimum of disruption to our routine and home life, given the large scale of the works being carried out.
The administration and management team that supported the work from the head office (specifically Emma) were fantastic in their response to all of our queries and were always available to assist.
In conclusion, the Design and Build service offered and carried out by SKYLOFT has been excellent. The quality of the workmanship and management is of an extremely high standard and we are delighted with our new on-suite bedroom
